Hey, it has been a while since I used this thread! Just want to check on everyone. I have been doing great still in graduate school and teaching online full time. I am enjoying traveling and meeting new people. I also will possibly teach Kindergarten in the Fall, but I love working from home so much I may turn down the offer. I am still deciding on the best choice!

My last post was about Bedbugs lol! Well, I move into a new place in August after staying with my parents for a year and saving money.
Hope you all are having an awesome summer!

Greetings! Long time no see, @TeacherCuriousExplore. Thanks for updating us about your situation. I, myself, will be entering my 6th year of teaching and was recently promoted to an administrative position (Dean for Academic Affairs and STEM Director), but I will still teach two math classes (AP Calc BC and Calc 3). I’m super excited and can’t wait to see what the new academic year may bring.

For my tutoring business, I recently got some new clients (that want to become regulars) and so I’m quite happy about that — Cha-Ching, haha!

How close are you to finishing up your graduate program? Have you finished your teaching credential yet?

Over the summer, I plan to see a ton of movies and have a few vacations. Concerning the former, I’ve already seen Detective Pikachu, Avengers: Endgame, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, and Godzilla: The King of Monsters. I plan to see Aladdin and The Secret Life of Pets: 2 in the coming days. I then plan to go to San Francisco and try many different massage places — I can’t wait! And I plan to eat a bunch of great food, as well. I’ve saved up and I plan to very much treat myself!

    Where are you traveling? :D

Wow! Congrats on the new job promotion!!! That sounds so cool! Also, I hope that your tutoring business becomes very lucrative for you. So far I went to Myrtle Beach and will be going to New Orleans next month

As for my teaching credentials, I plan to finally take the test this fall and winter. I am a little nervous.

Have a good time on your travels. I heard San Francisco is a nice city

Even though I am retired now, it doesn't quite feel that way yet because I am so used to having summer break. I think it will feel more like actual retirement when you all go back to school.

Enjoy your retirement! You’ve worked your whole life practically and you’ve educated several generations of children. It’s your time to enjoy your golden years! Have fun! :D

Glad to hear things are well! I can imagine the feeling that once you're used to working remotely, you don't want to get back out there w/ B&M (brick & mortar) jobs. I know I wouldn't want to!

I'm looking forward to a fun-filled summer for us all.
