What brand do you really like for washable Tempera paint? I thought they were all pretty much the same but the last kind I bought was a little washed out. Is there one brand you think is worth spending extra money for the quality?

I have never had a choice, but I bought it years ago before I left the classroom. We always put some laundry detergent in it to help out. Red is the worst.

I always bought regular tempera and a squirt of dish soap in it(Ivory worked well).

I must admit that sometimes I dislike the RED by Discount
School Suppliy. When I have run out and purchased Crayola I find the blue to be very staining.

    I agree add dish soap.
I use any brand of paint and add a teaspoon of Dawn Dishsoap per tablespoon of paint. It washes out well, and comes right off classroom furnature.
