I have a ELL student who cannot focus and seems to be developmentally delayed. I have a conference scheduled with parent and an interpreter for next week, but she has just emailed me (in English) probably with the help of a friend asking..”what can I do to help him?” He has limited vicabulary, struggles remaining focused and rarely can do any of the work that the other ELL students are doing. He’s a baby. There has been very slow and minimal progression from August.

What do you suggest ai tell her to do at home with him? He still does not know all of his letters and sounds and struggles with memory. Thank you!
