How are you preparing your students for "the test" that's coming up in a few months?
What have you been doing all year that has NOT been preparing them for the test?
I don't change anything as the test approaches, we do what I believe are the same activities that challenge the students to think. I always make connections to different test formats, but never do what many consider "test prep or drill and kill".
My students will start working in a test prep workbook that is mandated by my school. Not a fan, since it's the most boring book ever, but we'll be putting a lot of time into that.
