I'm the director for a preschool aged camp (mainly 4 and 5 year olds) this summer for the first time. Each day the campers have a variety of stations that last 20 minutes and one is a gross motor activity. Does anyone have a suggestion of something that can relate to a Dr Seuss story? I did some searching online but keep finding craft activities and not movement ones. I'm very flexible with which book it would relate to (and we have a story time as one of the stations so we can read the book then). I thought of "sharks and minnows" as it somewhat ties into One Fish Two Fish and the campers have played it before and liked it, but I would love something a bit more specific to Seuss if anyone has some thoughts. Thanks!

Play a rhyming activity, similar to the rhymes in a Dr. Seuss book. Examples:
Teacher: I can touch my nose [everyone touches their nose], I can touch my [teacher bends down]....
    Class: Toes!
Teacher: First I'll knock on the door [pretend knocking], now I'll sit on the....
    Class: Floor!
