ours is quickly approaching and I want to do something different this year. Every year it amazes me how many kids come to dismissal having done the same activities (ie-fruit loop necklaces, bring in a collection of 100 things). I'm not implying there's anything wrong with those activities, I just think doing them several years in a row would get boring for the kiddos.

Anything fun and maybe higher level that you do with your kids?

    If I had $100

When I am 100 years old...

100th day headbands...stamp with mini rubber stamps

    Count by 5s and 10s to 100.

Put a post it down the hallway where they think 100 feet would be from your odor way...measure the real footage.

I found a cute thing on Pinterest that had different activities the kids could do throughout the day: 100 jumping jacks, run 100 yards, take 100 steps, touch your toes 100 times, toss a ball back and forth 100 times with a partner, etc.

We already had our 100th day and of course I had a professional release day so I wasn't at school :(

There are tons of great ideas on pinterest one super fun thing our school does is on 100's day in the gym there are stations set up where the kids do 10 of each so 10 reps at 10 stations = 100 exercises.

I saw a 100th day cape out of plastic table cloths, that was clever, it had 100 letters make into words on the back.

Looks like fun! I may try this, too.

I do 100 day recipes - buy a variety of "ingredients" i.e. raisins, crackers, pretzels, etc. and then students have to create "recipes" using 100 ingredients. Once they have written their recipe they can assemble their snack mix.
