I love Gordon Ramsay. He is a world-class chef, witty, funny, and an excellent verbal jouster. For example, one of my all-time favorite quotes of his is when he was denigrating a chef on his show and said, “Oh effing hell. This steak’s so rare I could throw a Master Ball at it!” I laughed for days.

I know, when he made that lady say, “I’m an idiot sandwich,” I practically died.

Look up “Best Gordon Ramsey Rant Ever” on YouTube. Wait until the end, LOL!

Loud mouthed bully. Glad that he has made it big in the USA, you are welcome to keep him.

Not a fan, and a little dismayed that the US seems to idolize bullies, given how often they're cast as the heroes of reality shows. Though I suppose it does explain... a lot.

I withhold judgement on all of you, though -- since teachers are on the front lines of preventing bullying, I'll view those posting positively about Ramsey here as just using fantasy decompressing from their workday., like a cop that enjoys watching gangster movies or playing grand theft auto.

Oh cry me a river. It’s just a reality tv show — it’s harmless fun. So tired of people getting offended for other people. Good grief.

He's so-so. I wouldn't want him treating me that way personally if I was on Hell's Kitchen. He's much better on MasterChef. I understand his want for excellence in perfomance, but he's not the most professional either, obviously. It's the drama for the shows. I don't think he's really like that in day-to-day life at his restaurants.

It's been years since I've watched him, but I still think of him every time I see risotto.

Must admit, when I saw the clip from Master Chef when he sent a contestant home but then gave him a full scholarship to culinary school, I teared up. The dude can be harsh, but he knows and nurtures potential.

I hate Hell's Kitchen for the reasons others have mentioned, but I think he's great on Master Chef and a plain joy on Master Chef Junior. I wish he'd give up the former and just stick with being the smart, funny, nurturer that he obviously can be.

I love the show Heck's Kitchen, mainly due to the fact that I enjoy when Ramsay yells. He is awesome. When Ramsay gets mad, it is hilarious for me. I mean......for the contestants, um.....not so fun. However, for me (a weird teacher).........so awesome! Gordon Ramsay is fantastic! When i taught FACS, I used some Gordon Ramsay clips to teach my students how to cook. (for Meal Preparation---literally the name of the courseLOL)
