I need help! I'm a resource teacher with a few different grade levels, and I'm having a hard time with some planning.

I have 4 second grade students, who I will reinforce the comprehension skills they are doing in their home classroom. I'm having a difficult time trying to figure out a way to introduce the concept. As a grade level, we decided the students would first learn Who, When, and Where initially, and the students can use a story map- as character goes along with who, and setting with when and where.

How should I introduce this, when I am only going to be using three of the question words? We want the students to grasp the concept of Who, When, and Where.

    Any help would be grand!!!

P.S. My students are very near grade level.

Start by having the students use these words to ask and answer questions. You can play some type of games where the students move to different spaces of the room. Or you could make a few graphs to show their answers.
(Who has a brother, who lives in x town, when is your birthday, when do you wake up, etc).
