    Hello everyone!

I need ideas on how to communicate the lesson purpose/objectives throughout a lesson. For example, at the beginning of the lesson I will use the SWBAT acronym but need ideas for communicating it in the middle of the lesson and at the end of the lesson. Lesson plan is for first grade language arts. I'm having a hard time finding or thinking of other ideas. Your input is greatly appreciated:)

Are you referring to a learning target? We have to have a learning target posted for every lesson we teach. The students need to be able to state the learning target when asked by an adult. I post mine in a pocket chart with a yellow star by the target we are working on at the moment. The students take turns pretending to be the adult that enters the room and asks a random student to state the learning target.
