    Be safe.
    Be kind.
    Be clean.
    Be a team.

These are the classroom rules - "Big rules"

I have "little rules" in my other areas that fall under the classroom rules but are area specific - wear a smock falls under be clean, walking feet falls under be safe, take turns with materials falls under be a team & be kind, etc.

    Circle time rules are:
    Looking eyes
    Listening ears
    Quiet mouths
Calm bodies with hands on your lap

In our program they have instituted 3 rules that have to be the same in each classroom

    Take Care Of Yourself

    Take Of Our Things

    Take Care Of Others.

Then there is TONS of stuff about showing children throughout the years what these means and what examples of these are. The supervisors actually come in and quiz the kids on them.

I don't have such rules in my Childcare. But I always tell my children to enjoy without disturbing anyone and try not to hurt them self. And also I think the 3 B's are those rules which every child care or kindergarten center follows.

    1. Use your words when you want or need something.
    2. Say please and thank you.
    3. Have your listening ears ready.
    4. Use inside voices (when indoors).
