CBEST scores

    Hi everyone!

    So I actually got my cbest scores a couple months ago. I know I need to score a 41 on each individual subject. And you can score at least a 37 on one subject to pass as well.

    I got a 38 for mathematics and got a 53 on writing and a 51 on reading. Does that mean I have to retake my math portion? On my CTC account it says, "mathematics: not passed." But on the official score report it says, "passed" for the CBEST results status. I'm just a little confused.

    It's possible that it will take a while for CTC to update things - but if the score report says you're done, you're done.

    You need a combined score of 123 to pass, with no subscore below 37 on any individual section. You have met both requirements and so you have passed for life, unless their policy has changed, which I don’t believe it has.
