I know! The one I like is on sale! lol.
Just tell him you are going to buy your wedding dress today because it's on sale. Of course DH and I had been dating for since Oct 2000 and I bought my dress in June 2008.
This is my dress for my wedding in July...
I love it
I knew I wanted something with lace and my mom says that it reminds her of my grandma's dress which was gorgeous, so I like that. After I tried this one on I didn't even want to put anything else on, that's how I knew it was the dress. I think the back is my favorite part.
I love seeing everyone else's dresses!
I love it, Rebecca!
I really like both the first and third one.
I bought my dress a couple months before we called off the engagement...
I liked it because it was simple. Guess I should put it up on ebay already
This is my dress. The dress is white in some of the pictures and cream-ish in others but they are all the same dress. The one I purchased was white.
***Sorry they are so gigantic. I tried to make them smaller several times
I like the first one Silver!
I can't find a dress that looks anything like my dress, but...
It had detail work on the bottom of the skirt and on the train similar to this (it also had the same detail work on the bodice):
Shoulders and neckline similar to this:
The shape of the bodice and how it met the skirt were similar to this:
The fabric was similar to the first gown, but in ivory, and the skirt was a LOT fuller.
I want a really simple dress. I've looked at this one a bunch:
I doubt it's what I'll go with though since their only wedding store is in NYC.
Silver, the 2nd one you posted has been on my to try on list. I've been avoiding the try on part though, I still have a year.
This was my dress, but in ivory:
This thread is fun! Back in 1986, I paid $330 for my dress and bought the first one I tried on. I still like it (for 1986) but I fantasize about shopping for one again. 25th anniversary this June but I'm pretty sure that if we have a party, it will more likely require a swim suit, not a wedding dress.
Anthropologie just came out with a wedding line. Some of the dresses are stunning and some are just crazy!
Wow, Jem - you are right! I think if I saw a bride with some of those dresses I would wonder about her sanity or sobriety and I certainly wouldn't want to see them in wedding pictures for decades!
Nevermind the dresses...some of those models look starved, dead, and or evil! Weird.
It is great to be a guy:
Wedding dress $1066.95
Rented tuxedo $100.00
Not bad for a groom since it is "the bride's day" and he is "just along for the ride"
Tuxedo rentals have gone up. We paid 200. My dress was only 550, alterations another 50.
I kinda like this one...
