Are there any Student Progress Monitoring/Goal Tracking app/services?

I am looking for an app or online service where I can oversee and monitor students as they track their own progress and individual goals. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've not had much experience with it,b ut I know they have a trial.
