    Hi Everyone!

This week I am reviewing A B C and D with my 4 year olds. I thought a fun thing to do would be to have a sheet with a large A and a on it and have them glue something onto the letters that begins with the sound of "a," and the same thing for all of the letters as we go through our review weeks through the year. I'm looking for ideas of what manipulatives I can give them that will be easy to glue on for all of these letters. I have ideas for some but there are others that I am at a loss for. Any ideas?? We only teach the long vowel sounds, which is also limiting. I think they will really enjoy this after we review and they don't get to use those big fun glue bottles that they love so much very often, so I would love to be able to do it. Any help would be appreciated!

Here are some things I have had my students glue on the letters in the past:
A - apple or ant stickers
B - dry beans or bear stickers
    C - can't remember at the moment
D - Dots (make with hole punch - good fine motor)
    E - Can't remember
    F - feathers
    G - glue gold glitter on a green g
H - hearts -cutouts or stickers
    I - Icicles (from Christmas)
    J - jellybeans
    K - kites (die-cuts)
    L - Lace
    M - macaroni
    N - noodles/torn newspaper
    O - paper hole reinforcers (o shape)
    P - torn pink paper on a purple P
    Q - Q tips
R - red ribbon or rickrack
S - Decorate it to make a "silly snake"
    T - triangles
    U - umbrellas (die-cut)
V - vase of violets (the V is the vase/draw green stems coming out/fingerprint violets at top of stems)
W - decorate it to make a "wiggle worm"
X - glue small white strips of paper in X shapes all over a black X - resembles an X-ray
    Y - yellow yarn
Z - Make a zebra - they color black stripes on/add wiggle eye and a yarn tail

You can use cottonballs for C and egg shape stickers for E.
